AP Land: It has received an offer from major shareholder Low Chuan Holdings to buy its entire assets and liabilities for rm305.2 million or 45 sen per share.
Olympia: It is claiming a stake in Taiwan ’s gaming market via its partnership with Taiwan Lottery Co Ltd before the former wins its bid for Tanjong plc’s Pan Malaysia Pools Sdn Bhd.
Guocoland: PM Najib said Guocoland ( Malaysia ) Bhd, the property arm of Hong Leong Group, will invest RM1.9 billion on a mixed development in Kuala Lumpur . The project will include offices, retail space, a hotel and apartments.
Hovid: A project under the Healthcare NKEA, Hovid Bhd, a home-grown pharmaceutical company, had entered into a joint venture with Winthrop Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Sanofi-Aventis, a global pharmaceutical company. The joint venture will manufacture and supply generic drugs for diabetes and pain management worth RM50 million over the next five years.
